Okay, "Little Drummer Boy" is one of rare Christmas songs that doesn't have a default singer. I mean, are you going to listen to "White Christmas" by anyone other than Bing Crosby?! Didn't think so.
But if you want to add "Little Drummer Boy" to add to your Christmas playlist, Jars of Clay does a good one. And since it's Christmas and all, it's kind of neat to have it sung by a group that actually believes in the whole Jesus thing. Just a thought.

Happy Xmas (War Is Over) - Sarah McLachlan
Okay, this is one of those songs that just didn't need to be redone. Was the last one not heartfelt enough for you? Not strummy enough? Too guitary?
What was Sarah McLachlan thinking? Was the original just not slow and plodding and monotone enough for her?
Oh, but it features the Music Outreach Children's Choir and Youth Choir, so therefore Sarah's doing her good deed for the season. Oh, except that said choir doesn't exist except for this song. (Don't believe me? Google it.)
Go back to sad puppy commercials, Sarah.

Is there really a better Christmas song in the whole entire world? Be honest. No, no, there isn't.
